The 3rd Public Debt Policy and Supervision Committee meeting for 2018

On 16 August 2018, Mr. Apisak Tantivorawong, Finance Minister,
the chairperson of Public Debt Policy and Supervision Committee chaired the meeting of public debt management plan FY 2019 meeting at Ministry of Finance. The members of Public Debt Policy and Supervision Committee, representatives from various agencies, and officers of public debt management office attended the meeting.
The committee considered public debt management plan FY 2019 which will be submitted to the cabinet for approval and also acknowledged medium-term borrowing requirements and Medium-Term Debt Management Strategy (MTDS) FY 2020 - 2024.
The public debt management plan FY 2019 and Medium-Term Debt Management Strategy (MTDS) FY 2020 - 2024 are in accordance with the Fiscal Responsibility Law, the Public Debt Management Law, and the Government Policies on boosting economic growth and implementing public infrastructure investment projects to enhance the country competitiveness under the National Strategy framework.
